Link Health Receives Funding from Houston in Action to Deepen Civic Engagement in Houston Communities

BOSTON, MA – July, 2025

Link Health is proud to announce that it has been awarded funding from Houston in Action, supporting its ongoing mission to build a healthier democracy by promoting civic participation as a driver of health equity.

This partnership will allow Link Health to expand its community-based outreach efforts, strengthening relationships with the very individuals and families it serves in Houston clinics and community settings. Through this support, Link Health will work to ensure that civic engagement, including voter registration and education, becomes a routine part of how communities protect their health and shape their futures.

“At Link Health, we believe that civic engagement is deeply connected to health outcomes,” said Ar’Sheill Monsanto, VP of Partnerships at Link Health. “This funding allows us to not only reach more Houstonians but to empower them with the tools and information they need to advocate for the resources their communities deserve.”

As part of this effort, Link Health will collaborate with a diverse network of local organizations and partners, joining forces with community leaders who are equally committed to building a more inclusive, representative, and engaged Houston.

A spokesperson for Houston in Action, shared: “We’re proud to support Link Health’s innovative approach to connecting civic engagement and health. Their model shows that when we build power through participation, we strengthen not only our communities, but our collective well-being.”
