Our Team

Dr. Alister Martin

Founder and Managing Director

Dr. Alister Martin is an ER physician and an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Kennedy School and was a former Chief Resident at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was a former Biden Administration appointee serving as an advisor in the Office of the Vice President under Kamala Harris as an appointed White House Fellow. He is the founder of Vot-ER, a nonpartisan voter registration organization that has organized over 26,000 healthcare providers and 300 hospitals to help non-urgent patients register to vote. Also, the founder of Get Waivered, a program that is converting our nation’s ERs into the front door for opioid addiction treatment, was instrumental in the organizing efforts resulting in the removal of the X waiver provision. Co-founded GOTVax, an initiative aimed at leveraging a get-out-the-vote framework to deliver vaccines directly to vulnerable communities via hyper-targeted vaccine pop-up clinics. Dr. Martin currently serves as CEO of A Healthier Democracy, a nonprofit healthcare organizing incubator which leverages healthcare workers and healthcare settings as a place to build programs and movements that serve the needs of vulnerable patients and helps oversee strategy at Link Health.

Anthony Collins

Field Director

Anthony Collins is currently serving as the Field Director for Link Health and is responsible for managing community outreach efforts and supporting strategic planning initiatives for Link Health events. Prior to joining Link Health, Anthony served as the Organizing Director for Sonia Chang-Díaz for Governor, where he was responsible for overseeing field operations and organizing efforts for the campaign. He has also served as the Field Director for Hicks for District Six and the Regional Organizing Director for Ed Markey for U.S. Senate. Anthony’s commitment to community engagement and political activism is demonstrated by his work on the Campaign to elect Damali Vidot, where he served as the Field/Digital Director. His ability to effectively manage field and digital operations helped the campaign reach its goals and made a significant impact on the Boston community.

Nicolas Suarez

Organizing Manager

Nicolas Suarez is a seasoned political professional with a wealth of experience in organizing and field consulting, as well as in campaign management and advocacy. Throughout his career, Nicolas has consistently demonstrated his ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and to implement effective strategies to drive engagement and mobilize voters. Starting with his role as a Field Organizer for the Massachusetts Democratic Party, Nicolas has consistently demonstrated his ability to engage communities and to promote voter engagement and inclusion. During his time as a Field Organizer for Ed Markey for U.S. Senate, Nicolas played a critical role in mobilizing more than 10,000 voters and volunteers and in driving the success of the campaign. As the South Region Youth Advocate for the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, Nicolas was responsible for representing over 13 southern states in anti-tobacco advocacy and for working with the Campaign to influence both policy and legislation. He also worked personally with the Honduran Ambassador and staff at the United Nations as a Project Intern, where he was responsible for ensuring proper Honduran representation and for attending sessions at the UN. More recently, Nicolas served as Deputy Campaign Manager for GOTVax where he was responsible for driving engagement and implementing opportunities for growth. Currently, Nicolas is working as an Organizing and Field Consultant for Link Health, where he is focused on connecting patients to valuable funding that helps close the digital divide.

Melanie Alba

Data Strategy Lead

Melanie Alba is a highly skilled and accomplished organizer, strategist, and engineer with a diverse background in data, strategy, and campaign management. With a passion for helping others and a drive for success, Melanie has established herself as a leader in her field. Melanie was the campaign manager for GOTVax, where she honed her skills in project management, communication, and strategy development. Her work with GOTVax helped to increase public awareness about the importance of vaccination and improve access to life-saving treatments. Today, Melanie continues her work as a data and strategy consultant for Link Health, where she uses her expertise in data analysis to help businesses make informed decisions. With a strong background in both engineering and data science, Melanie provides insightful, data-driven recommendations that help our team achieve our goals. Melanie's achievements extend beyond her professional accomplishments. As a proud daughter of Cuban refugees, Melanie is committed to giving back to her community and making a positive impact in the world. She graduated from MIT with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and her experiences growing up in a working-class neighborhood in Miami have inspired her to improve this country for future generations.
