Linking Patients to Telehealth Access

Our Story

Through strategic partnerships with Healthcare Providers, Link Health has helped thousands of patients receive money to connect to the Internet via the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).

The Affordable Connectivity Program is a federal subsidy that provides participants with up to a $75 monthly discount towards internet costs. Healthcare settings are unique access points, that enable our team to effectively reach individuals in need.

To date, our outreach has helped eligible families enroll in the ACP, thereby, distributing over $260,000 in subsidies. Those monthly savings could be put back into households and used to alleviate financial burdens.

There is increasing evidence that shows a strong relationship between broadband access and health outcomes. Inadequate broadband internet continues to be a structural and social determinant of health and is a barrier to accessing telehealth resources.

Our goal is to collaborate with healthcare partners to increase awareness about the ACP. This work is vital because over 170,000 Houston Households lack access to the internet. Cost is often the top constraint despite the fact that many of these families unknowingly qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program.
